Monkey Sons are an alternative/indie hip hop band (in the sense that they have 2 rappers) from Brighton who combine styles from hard & heavy guitar led tracks, to straight up party vibes with some downtempo numbers for good measure. Always performing with passion, they like the lyrics and music to challenge and inspire in equal measure.

They have just released their second single on Naked Ape Records, Water Off A Monkey’s Back – a live favourite that never fails to get the crowd jumping, rock meets rap meets ska! The forthcoming album  ‘Chronicles of Banania: Superhuman Evolution?’ is due for release this summer.

Their debut release (the Ha Ha EP) was well received all round, and was selected by Steve Lamacq as his single of the week on his 6Music show.
